Despite the fact that it has taken weeks for me to actually write you since we've received the photos, they are amazing and we have been showing them off to everyone! It has been so wonderful to look through the albums you prepared- I fully agree that it is really important and valuable to have the photographs. It's not the same looking at them on the computer screen. You really captured so many amazing moments and got all the shots we were hoping to have and ones we never expected! It's hard to imagine that photos could capture how amazing the day felt, but the photos really come as close. Everyone who has seen them has been impressed. It was really wonderful to work with you, both leading up to the wedding, on the wedding day, and how quickly you got the photos back to us. It was clear from the get-go that you were really organized and would do a great job. It was great to have you there on the big day and your helpful advice on even non-photo related items... including Lindsay's make-up consultation. We've heard from many guests and our parents who were really impressed by your professionalism and kindness, you kept us moving to get the photos we wanted, but didn't make any one feel rushed. First and foremost, I have gotten so many wonderful complements about your photos that I have to pass them on - although I fear my memory and words won't do them justice. I honestly had forgotten most of that day already, it was such a whirlwind. But, looking at these photos brought back every memory that was already fading. My husband selected Rene Minnis, after researching a number of different firms for our wedding photographer. He is very selective about any type of service-provider he chooses, due to the fact that he is an experienced project manager and deals with sub-contractors on a daily basis. He chose Rene for several reasons (quality of website and photography, willingness to accommodate, etc.), but primarily because he felt that she was the most upfront, fair photographer that he had spoken with. He also felt that she was more creative and unique than the other photographers as was demonstrated in her sample wedding albums. While she was not the least expensive choice, she was reasonable about the charges and was the only photographer who stated that she would do only one wedding that Saturday - our wedding. This meant that we did not have to worry about the "clock running out" in the middle of our event and losing our photographer as they raced off to another engagement.
Rene is an extremely talented and professional individual. She was, far and above, the best wedding vendor that I had the pleasure to work with. In fact, when the venue coordinators proved to be less than par with their service, Rene stepped up and assisted in additional areas, which relieved a lot of stress on both me and my husband. She was never invasive at any time during the event (church or reception) and I received many compliments from my guests on our choice of photographer. Since the wedding, I have seen some of the fantastic work that Rene does.
I would highly recommend Rene Minnis for a wedding (or other event) photographer. She is a joy to work with and extremely talented. I have since recommended Rene to several soon-to-be brides and the feedback that I have received was excellent. They also had a fantastic experience.

After our initial meeting with Rene, we knew she was the photographer for us. She was attentive, organized, and emitted a positive vibe. What really sealed the deal was her creativity and ability to work with our budget. She showed us numerous examples of her artistically created albums and photos. It was obvious from the beginning that Rene had a keen eye and was detailed orientated.
While planning, Rene was easily accessible. I liked the idea of working directly with her. She offered plenty of options regarding our pictures and album. Rene even supplied me with her home number!
On our big day, Rene arrived earlier than promised and was ready to work. Through her enthusiasm I could tell she was genuinely excited for us. Rene did a great job of blending in and kept the focus on us. We received numerous compliments from our guests about her professionalism and technique.
Rene gave us an estimated date of arrival for our proofs. They arrived early, were packaged neatly, and included a card thanking us for choosing her. Shortly after, we received our formal album. This was where Rene proved her hard work and dedication. Our album is perfect as was our day.
